Özet

Purpose: The “da Vinci” robotic system has been used effectively and with good results. In this report, we describe our initial robotic laparoscopic surgery experience for the abdominal surgical procedures. Patients and Methods: A total of 10 patients were prospectively enrolled and underwent surgery using the “da Vinci” robot. Patients' demographics, operative indications, operative time, complications, and hospital stay were recorded. Results: There were 3 cholecystectomies, 1 redo anti-reflux procedure, 1 Heller myotomy, 1 subtotal gastrectomy, 1 appendectomy, 2 anterior resections and 1 right colectomy. The operative times ranged from 65 to 495 minutes. There were no intraoperative complications. The hospital stays ranged from 1 to 5 days. There was one postoperative complication of a wound infection. Conclusion: We safely performed robotic laparoscopic surgery in abdominal operation with no increase in complication rates.
