ORTODONT‹DE OTOJEN D‹fi TRANSPLANTASYONU AUTOGENOUS TOOTH TRANSPLANTATION IN ORTHODONTICS Handan Tu¤çe O⁄UZ*, Neslihan ÜÇÜNC܆ ÖZET Difl eksikliklerinin giderilmesi amac›yla,gömülü ya da sürmüfl bir diflin ayn› bireyde bulundu¤u bölgeden çekim bofllu¤u veya cerrahi olarak haz›rlanm›fl sokete transplantasyonuna ototransplantasyon denir.Do¤ru endikasyon konulan vakalarda alveoler kret fleklinin korunmas›,fizyolojik difl mobilitesi ve stomatognatik sistem fonksiyonlar›n›n korunmas›n› sa¤layan bir tedavi yaklafl›m›d›r.Bu derlemede konvansiyonel ortodonti ve implant tedavilerine göre daha k›sa zaman almas› ve daha ekonomik olmas›,protetik tedavi gereksinimini ortadan kald›rmas› gibi avantajlar›n›n yan›s›ra olas› dezavantajlar› sunulmufltur. Anahtar kelimeler: Ototransplantasyon,difl eksikli¤i,gömülü difl,ortodonti SUMMARY Autotransplantation is a method used for treating missing teeth in cases of impacted or erupted teeth from one site of the mouth to another in the same individual.In good selected cases it has some advantages like protecting the shape of alveolar bone,physiologic tooth mobility and stomatognathic system functions.In this review both the advantages ; like taking less time than conventional orthodontics and eliminating the need of prothetic therapy ,also the disadvantages of autotransplantation therapy is narrated.
