Abstract

The purpose of this research is determination of the reasons of biology teacher candidates on their selection of biology teaching education and the effects of these reasons on their academic achievement level. Additionally, the reasons and academic achievement levels of the candidates were examined if they differ significantly according to the gender of the candidates.
