In Azerbaijan, which has an important place in music education and performance, piano education comes first in classical music education. The piano education of Azerbaijan, which is the place where many world-famousTurkic pianists began their education, even though it was generally influenced by the pieces and composers of the Soviet period, the piano was given a national identity with pieces written by Azerbaijani composers. When the literature is reviewed, it has been detected that there are studies on Azerbaijani composers and piano educators, while there are relatively fewer studies on general piano methods. By examining the methods of the Azerbaijani culture, the importance of different learning methods in piano education is emphasized. This research aimed to examine the three piano methods that were frequently used at the beginning of education, which is the basis of the success of Azerbaijan in piano. In this context, the methods ‘‘Fortepianino Çalmaq Üçün İbtidai Dərslik Kitabı’’, ‘‘Fortepianoda Çalmaq Üçün Vəsait (Dərslik)’’, ‘‘Школа игры на фортепиано (School of Piano Playing)’’ were examined.
