Structural health monitoring is focused on damage detection or approximate estimation of damage size. By predicting the damage or effect of damages, possible accidents could be prevented. This paper proposes to apply a machine learning technique to estimate the effect of structural damage made by animals on the flight. The classification algorithms are applied and results of them are compared by using an extensive set of real bird strikes data.
