ObjectivesThe purpose of this study was to evaluate the gingival crevicular fluid levels of interleukin-1beta (IL-1), matrix metalloproteinases-3 (MMP-3), tissue type plasminogen activator (t-PA) and plasminogen activator inhibitor 2 (PAI-2) in patients with chronic periodontitis, aggressive periodontitis (AgP) and healthy individuals (controls).
