Abstract

PURPOSE. To assess the effect of retinal detachment (RD) on retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) thickness by using a scanning laser polarimeter (NFA-GDx) after successful scleral buckling surgery for the treatment of rhegmatogenous RD.
