Özet

The transition to net-zero energy systems has transformed the landscape of the power grid. Conventional large synchronous generators are being supplanted by inverter-based resource (IBR) technologies. This shift toward an IBR-dominant power grid is altering the operational dynamics of the power system. Furthermore, the control and coordination of these sources require the use of an open communication network that introduces time delays, negatively impacting frequency stability. This article primarily investigates the effects of grid-forming (GFM) inverter control on stability delay margins (SDMs) within an islanded microgrid. SDMs are computed using a precise frequency-domain approach based on resultant theory and Rekasius substitution. MATLAB and Simulink are employed to validate the accuracy of the theoretical results.
