Abstract

Herein, the synthesis and characterization of three new polymeric-Schiff bases including indol (L1, L2, L3) were reported. The antibacterial and antifungal activity of all compounds were investigated by the welldiffusion method against some selected microorganisms as potential antimicrobial agents. In addition, the anti-genotoxic properties of these polymeric-Schiff bases were examined against sodium azide in human lymphocyte cells by micronuclei (MN) and sister chromatid exchange (SCE) tests.
