In this study, the effects of applied heat treatment conditions on structure, mechanical properties and abrasive wear of eutectic AlSi alloys were investigated. The specimens were poured at 610 degrees C temperature, and then applied heat treatment at different conditions. Abrasive wear tests were performed by pin-on-disc wear tester under loads of 10 and 30 N, at a sliding speed of 0.1 m s-1, used for 220 ve 800 Mesh Al2O3 abrasive paper. The experiment results showed that worsen abrasive wear properties were obtained by heat treatments, although better mechanical properties. The best wear results were obtained in as-cast sample.
