Hydatid disease is a parasitic disorder affecting all organ systems and tissues in the body, in particular the liver and lungs. Bone lesions are very rare and half of the bone lesions are observed in the spine. In this paper, we present a case of primary spinal hydatid cyst resistant to surgical and medical interventions leading to progressive paraplegia.
