Due to the increase in energy demand in parallel with the developing technology, available resources are not sufficient. For this reason, the use of renewable energy sources has become important. Renewable energy is often dependent on resources that are not sustainable, such as wind, sun. The energy thus obtained is stored in batteries. Therefore, efficient use of energy obtained from these sources is critical. In this study, a lighting system based fuzzy logic and supported Internet of Things (IoT) for renewable energy sources efficiently. The system aims energy efficiency by taking into account light intensity and motion in the environment, date and, the battery occupancy ratio. The proposed system was tested in a real-world environment and achieved energy efficiency about 24 percent.
