Abstract

Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) has brought about radical changes in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Education. GenAI technologies are popular for AI creativity and usability in almost all fields of application. This chapter will specifically focus on perspectives of GenAI in education and examine GenAI’s effects, opportunities, and threats. In addition, the study provides a roadmap for the rational use of prompt engineering and Agentic AI. Benefitting from GenAI developments, prompt engineering and AI technology have great potential to guide the behavior and outputs of the model in performing various tasks with inputs designed for AI intelligence using Large Language Models (LLMs), and to integrate AI technologies into educational processes, applications, developments, implementations, skills, and support a real revolution in education. This chapter summarizes how this revolution has been achieved for education with the help of innovative goals, personalized learning processes, transforming students into active learners, rapidly diversifying teaching materials, etc.
