In our country, there is so much loss of life and property due to fires occurring in buildings for various reasons. To minimize loss of life and property that may occur, buildings should be harmonized with the national fire regulations, fire safety in buildings must be provided. Security measures to be applied should be created at the project design stage and projects should be developed in accordance. For this purpose, new Faculty of Architecture Building of Gazi University which is in the design stage was examined in terms of national fire regulations for rules and an eligibility criteria was developed based on the evaluations. The recommendations developed out of this study and the design project were brought in compliance with building regulations.
