Özet
Preoperative imaging methods in hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) surgery are beneficial for determining the surgical margins and significantly reducing postoperative recurrence rates. We present an adolescent HS patient who underwent excision of an inguinal lesion utilizing both preoperative and intraoperative ultrasonography. We aim to emphasize that in patients with complex subcutaneous fistulas, particularly in the inguinal-gluteal regions, the combination of preoperative and intraoperative ultrasonographic evaluation is a highly effective approach for defining appropriate excision margins and reducing postoperative recurrences.
