Depending on the usage purposes swimming pools have their own designs. It is very important obeying the standards in the steps of design, construction, and operating of swimming pool due to the direct effects of human health. Especially, the operating the swimming pools are related to public health who use these pools. One of the most important issues for healthy operation of swimming pool is the design of the mechanical sanitary, which provides hygiene. Swimming pools should be designed according to the standards. According to standards heating necessity for water, volume of balancing tank, sanitary pipe calculations, pressure loss calculations should be carried out. These calculations are time consuming. For this purpose a computer program was developed to calculate design calculations of mechanic sanitary of swimming pools. This visual program calculates heating and mechanical sanitary systems. Visual Basic was used for this purpose. The program figures out the balancing tank volume, nozzle numbers and flow rate for feed water, number of filters and total heat requirement for water. Beside these mechanical sanitary, pipe radius and pump flow rate could be determined. An olympic swimming pool calculations are given as an example.
