Bearings are critical components in machines, and their deterioration, breakage, or assembly faults can cause serious damage. For this reason, systematical bearing condition control plays an important role in the early detection and frustration of serious machine damage. While performing a bearing failure analysis, the most commonly used predictive maintenance method is the examination of vibration data obtained with an accelerometer. Connecting the load cell, which measures the force change and changes the friction force of the bearing, is an alternative bearing damage control method to the vibration data control method. In this study, the fault defection and lifetime of polymer hybrid ball bearings has been determined using an accelerometer and a load cell together under various load conditions.
