Özet
In this study, performance tests of a gamma type Stirling engine were conducted using air, argon and helium as the working fluid. The engine was tested between 700-1000 °C hot source temperatures with 100 °C increments and 1-4.5 bar charge pressures with 0.5 bar increments. Tests were intended to determine the variation of engine power with charge pressure, engine speed and hot source temperature for each kind of working fluid. The maximum power output of the engine was obtained as 128 W with helium at 4 bar charge pressure, 1000 °C hot source temperature and 893 rpm engine speed.
