Özet

This study focuses on the evaluation of the relationship between boron and the data obtained from the study performed in different points in Kutahya-Emet region to determine the quality and pollution level of underground water and solutions. Within the scope of this study, the values of boron and arsenic in water samples taken monthly in 2010 were analyzed. Obtained data were evaluated according to the properties of underground water sample points and the effects of pollutant sources. Based on the months, annual distributions of arsenic and boron impurity were executed according to sources and the data plotted as bar diagram. Results show that the water in Emet region contains high rates of boron. Because of utilizing underground water in the region both as drinking and utility water, data obtained in this investigation has been evaluated whether so-called water can be used as utility and drinking water or not and possible solutions of the problem.
