Özet

Throughout history different religions as Manichaeism, Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism and Islam had been accepted by different Turkic tribes and nations. In all these religions one of the most important concept is the Devil. Thus this concept existed in various forms in Turkish according to the era. In time the concept also took place in proverbs and idioms. Especially old Uyghur Turks gave many names to the Devil as a consequence of their Buddhist and Manichaean beliefs. After years the number of namings for the Devil decreased.
