Chest radiography is one of the first choices of many physicians due to its wide availability and ease of assesment. Primarily assisting the diagnosis of pulmonary and cardiac diseases, chest radiography might also help identifying diseases of neighboring organs. The patient mentioned in this article admitted to our hospital with symptoms of abdominal pain, back pain and weight loss. A suspicious radyoopacity determined in the fundus of the stomach in a chest radiography. Gastric cancer diagnosis is established by upper endoscopy. Imaging for staging revealed distant metastases at the time of diagnosis, and chemotherapy was started. The patient followed with nutritional support thereafter. If the chest radiography is interpreted precisely and cautiously, it will be able to serve early diagnosis in similar cases.
