Hydatid disease with Echinococcus granulosus involves mainly the liver and lungs and occurs in many endemic regions of the world (1-4). Although the first and most important sites for this parasite are the liver and lung, it can be seen in pelvic organs as well (5-10). We report the rare occurrence of a primary pelvic hydatid cyst.
