Özet

The 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethane [C12H12N2 (Bpa)] molecule lies on a centre of symmetry. Bond distances and angles have values within the normal ranges. The value of the torsion angle C2-C3-C6-C6' [-99.5(3)degrees] shows that the Bpa molecule is not planar.
