In this study, in the blanking of AA5754 sheet material with dies, the effects of clearance and the thickness of sheet material on blanking parameters (punch penetration depth, burnished depth, burr height, blanking force) were investigated experimentally. For this purpose, cutting process is applied to 1, 1.5 and 2 mm thick AA5754 sheet materials with 20 mm diameter punches. In these cutting operations, seven different clearance values of 0.07, 0.08, 0.10, 0.12, 0.14, 0.16 ve 0.18 mm were used. It was observed that clearance and thickness of the sheet are effective on punch penetration depth, burnished depth, burr height and blanking force. In this study, the most appropriate clearance values were determined for AA5754 sheet material in different thickness values. According to the results obtained from experiments, regression analysis was performed. Besides, predictions were formed with fuzzy logic method for different parameter values. The values obtained by this method are consistent with the experimental results.
