Özet

A novel graphene-based gas sensing material was developed via a highly effective synthesis method. The graphene samples were synthesized by single-step efficient reduction method using a water elimination reaction in the presence of phosphoric acid (H3PO4) and sulfuric acid (H2SO4). This new method is called the acidic method and offers significant advantages, such as absence of toxic products, ease of purification and a high-quality graphene yield. The graphene samples were characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy Thermogravimetric Analysis and Transmission Electron Microscopy Methods. The gas sensing properties of graphene samples have been worked as a function of measurement temperature and gas concentration. The results show that the method is effective for graphene-based gas sensors, given its simple process, practical usability, cost effectiveness and the ability to work at room temperature.
