Abstract

In this study, removal of lead ions using packed adsorption columns was investigated. The effect of initial concentration, temperature and type of sorbent (natural and regenerated horse chestnut) on lead removal was studied. In the sorption process, the outer layer of horse chestnut was more effective than the inner layer, and the calculation value of lead adsorption on the outer layer of horse chestnut was 109.60 mg per kg sorbent.
