Özet

Syncope syndromes like carotid sinus syndrome, situational syncope, and neurocardiogenic syncope, also known as vasovagal syncope are neurally mediated. Among them, vasovagal syncope forms majority of reasons of the unexplained syncope observed in either children or adults. In this case report, we aimed at the presentation of sudden occurrence of sinus bradycardia and hypotension following induction of anaesthesia immediately after placing patient into Trendelenburg position in a case with previously diagnosed vasovagal syncope scheduled to undergo laparoscopic tubal ligation under general anaesthesia within the scope of current literature.
