Özet

This study examines resources used in response to today's increasing energy demands. Considering fossil fuels' limited availability and environmental harm, the need for renewable, clean energy is steadily growing. Among these clean energy sources, the most popular is solar energy, which reduces carbon emissions and is also a renewable resource. After analyzing our country's solar energy potential, the solar radiation value for the Kirikkale province has been evaluated. Subsequently, solar power plants with fixed and tracking-axis systems to be installed in the same region for Kirikkale province are studied using the PVsyst program version 7.4.2, and the production data obtained are compared. The comparison of these results and the obtained data can be conducted using up-to-date information for different countries and provinces as well.
