Abstract

A new genus (Pseudodelphinium H.Duman, Vural, Aytac & Adiguzel) and 3 new species (Pseudodelphinium turcicum H.Duman, Vural, Aytac & Adiguzel; Iberis halophila Vural & H.Duman; and Frankenia salsuginea Adiguzel & Aytac) from the Tuz Golu (Salt Lake) basin (Central Anatolia) are described. Illustrations, ecological habit, and a distribution map are given. The relationships of the new genus and species are discussed in terms of related taxa.
