Abstract

Six benzothiazolone derivatives have been synthesized and their structure have been elucidated by IR and NMR spectral data. Analgesic activity of the compound has been investigated by modified Koster test in mice using aspirin as the reference. Compound 4 has been found more potent than aspirin. Whereas compound 6 has been found equipotent with aspirin.
