Özet

The purpose of the study is to investigate effect of the portfolio on students' removal of failure causes in "the systems of body structures" unit. In this study quasi-experimental design was implemented which was pre-test/post-test control group. The sample of the research is consisted of 60 6th class students who attended a primary school. In this study failure causes questionnaire was used as measuring scale. Data was analyzed with distribution percent-frequency. First result was obtained from the research; portfolio is not effective on students' removal of failure causes stemmed from home and family. Second result was gained from research portfolio is effective on students' removal of failure causes stemmed from individual. Another result was showed that portfolio is effective on students' removal of failure causes stemmed from education atmosphere. (C) 2013 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
