Özet
The article considers G. Hesse’s novel “Narcissus and Goldmund” in the aspect
of revealing the emotional and semantic, pictorial qualities of artistic phrasemics,
which conveys the originality of language, features of figurative folk thinking
and expressiveness. Phraseological units are widely used by the writer both in
the traditional sense and in the structural-semantic transformation, in individual
variations. Phraseologisms in the artistic structure of the text are aimed at action;
contribute to the inclusion of certain associative plans, a better “reading” of the
image, a specific contextual situation. Somatic phraseologies (head, heart) are also
singled out in G. Hesse’s novel that is units, which include components that are
the names of parts of the human body and elements of the cardiovascular, nervous
and other systems. Somatic phraseology is characterized by conceptualization
of the somatic code of culture in artistic discourse, verbalization of the meaning
of “human character”, national-cultural component of semantics, structural and
semantic, linguocognitive characteristics, figurative potential of somatisms as a
semantic centre of psycho-emotional state and feelings. Artistic phrases (death,
creativity) represent archetypal, mythological ideas, have several verbalizations,
created on different principles and related to mental spaces. The events of the novel
“Narcissus and Goldmund” take place mainly in the monastery of Mariabronn, so
the work is rich in confessional phraseology, established phrases of ecclesiastical
and religious significance, sacred color, which greatly expand the functional field
of expressions, especially compositional, authoritative, stylistic. In the aspect of
linguistic, linguoculturological and extralinguistic factors the emphasis is put on
the sacred content of the lexemes, synonymic rows, the most frequently used in
artistic speech, which refer to phylosophic and religious beliefs, emotional and
aesthetic ambitions of characters, sacred feelingsThe article considers G. Hesse’s novel “Narcissus and Goldmund” in the aspect
