Özet

Na+-NH4+ ion-exchange isotherms have been determined in zeolite NaX at 25-degrees-C and total solution-phase concentrations of 0.1, 0.05, 0.025 mol dm-3. The corrected selectivity coefficient, K(c), data were fitted to a polynomial equation. The equation which represents K(c) as a function of the equivalent cation fraction of NH4+ in the zeolite phase was used for the prediction of isotherms at different normalities. The experimental points are in reasonable agreement with the predicted isotherms.
