The paper presents a taxonomic evaluations on the Australian genus Zygocera Dejean (Lamiinae: Zygocerini). Accordingly, a subgenus Zygocera (Trichozygocera) Breuning rest. nov. is proposed and presented with some species that was previously placed to the genera, Zygocera Dejean
