In the molecule of the title compound, C9H9N 5O3S, the thiazole ring is oriented with respect to the barbituric acid ring at a dihedral angle of 10.53 (7)°. In the crystal structure, intermolecular N-H⋯N hydrogen bonds link the molecules into centrosymmetric dimers; these dimers are arranged in sheets parallel to the ac plane. © 2006 International Union of Crystallography All rights reserved.
