Aim: Dendritic cells (DCs) are potent antigen-presenting cells crucial for initiation of cell-mediated immune responses to foreign antigens They also contribute to the innate resistance against microbial pathogens. The present study examined the effect of microorganisms such as Escherichia coli (E coli), Serratia marcescens (S marcescens), Methicillin:resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), coagulase negative staphylococci (CoNS), and Canadida albicans (C albicans) on cytokine secretion in bone marrow-dendritic cells (BM-DCs)
