The Determination of the Optimum Nano Materials Ratios in Production of High Performance Mortar

In terms of sustainability reinforced concrete infrastructure elements deteriorate for some reasons.. The research on the production of high performance repair mortars in the repair of these deteriorations has increased rapidly. The reasons for this is the use of nanomaterials at certain rates in the production of repair mortar and its great advantage of high performace in a short time. In the study, three different nano materials were added at 0.5%, 1%, 1.5% and 2% of the weight of the cement for the production of high performance repair and repair mortars, while the admixture binder was 55% UK substituted. Samples of 50 x 50 x 50 mm cubes were prepared for 28 days compressive strength for each mixture. Generally, with the nano-silicate and nano-aluminate mixtures had approximately parallel results to each other in all mixture ratios. Nano-silicate and nano-aluminate mixtures gave the maximum compressive strength when used at 1% whereas nano-calcite mixture gave the maximum compressive strength when used at 0.5% ratio. When the nano materials compared with each other, nano-silicate samples prepared at 1% ratio gave the highest strength of 97,86 MPa, while the nano-aluminate samples prepared at 0
