Özet

In this study, safety belt usability of automobiles is tried to evaluate. A pilot usability assessment study has been done for a safety belt of automobile (called X) by implementing two experiments. Result of first experimental study figure out that most important problem related to usability is difficulty during the belting and unbelting process. Second experiment has been done to demonstrate the hypothesis that front arm rests is the source of this problem. Result of experiment proves the hypothesis that accessories covering big spaces between front seats are the primary cause of belt discomfort.
