In this study, using air and helium as working gas, performance characteristics of a beta type Stirling engine were determined, plotted graphically and discussed. Performance tests were realized at 800, 900 and 1000 degrees C heater temperatures. During the tests charge pressure was varied from 1,0 bar to 4,0 bar with 0,5 bar increments. Maximum output of the test engine was obtained as 58,05 W with helium at 3,5 bar pressure and 800 1/min engine speed.
