In the structure of the title compound, C15H13N, the dihedral angle between the five- and the six-membered rings of the indole system is 1.19 (5)° and the phenyl ring makes a dihedral angle of 46.09 (5)° with the indole ring system. © International Union of Crystallography 2007.
