The aim of this study is to provide exercise and etude suggestions for the challenges, which have been determined in accordance with the opinions of cello instructors, who conduct cello courses at Faculties of Education Departments of Music Teaching, confronted while playing Georg Eduard Goltermann's Cello Concerto Op.65 No.4's Ist movement, which is in the curriculum of Faculties of Education Departments of Music Teaching. The population of the study consists of cello instructors at the Faculties of Education Divisions of Music Education in Turkey, and materials provided at these institutions for cello education. This is a descriptive study and general scanning model has been used. Data have been collected by means of questionnaires prepared upon expert opinions.
