Özet

In this study, the fracture behavior of notched concrete beams produced with concrete strength from 25 to 100 MPa and steel fiber volume ratio from 0 to 1.5% were experimentally investigated under three-point loading. The digital image correlation method was adopted to determine the full-field deformation map on the beam surface. Test results were evaluated concerning vertical deflection versus CMOD, peak load fracture energy, effective crack length and unstable fracture toughness. Based on the characteristic length of specimen, an empirical relation was developed for the estimation of effective crack length, which yielded results close to those of two parameter model.
