Özet

Bu çalışmada hazırlıksız yakalandığımız ve tüm dünyayı etkisi altına alan COVİ D-19 pandemisinde flüt öğretim elemanlarının çevrimiçi eğitim algıları ele alınmıştır. Araştırmanın temel amacı flüt öğretim elemanlarının çevrimiçi flüt eğitimi sürecine ilişkin algılarını ortaya koymaktır. Elde edilen veriler çevrimiçi eğitim sürecinde yürütülen bireysel çalgı flüt derslerinin uzaktan eğitime uygunluğu, çevrimiçi eğitim sürecinde kullanılan platformun yeterliliği ve etkililiği, ek teknolojilerin performansa etkisi ve psikolojik etkileri öğretim elemanlarının algılarından yola çıkılarak değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden fenomenoloji modeli kullanılmıştır. Verilerin toplanması amacıyla görüşme stratejilerinden açık uçlu görüşme türü kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğretim elemanları flüt eğitimi dersini yüz yüze yapmayı tercih ettiklerini ancak pandemi sürecinde derslerin devam etmesi açısından uzaktan öğretim yönteminin alternatif bir eğitim modeli olduğu yönünde görüş belirtmişlerdir. Araştırmada elde edilen verilere dayanarak, uzaktan eğitim konusunda üniversitelerin teknik alt yapısı güçlendirilmiş, ses ve görüntü kalitesi müzik eğitimi düşünülerek tasarlanmış yeni bir öğrenme platformunun geliştirilmesi yönünde önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
The COVID-19 pandemic, which affected the entire world and for which educational institutions were largely unprepared, led to significant changes in educational practices. This study aims to examine flute instructors’ perceptions of the online flute education process implemented during the pandemic. The data were evaluated in terms of the suitability of individual flute lessons for distance education, the adequacy and effectiveness of the platforms used, the impact of supplementary technologies on instructional performance, and the psychological effects experienced by instructors throughout the online teaching process. A phenomenological research design, one of the qualitative research methods, was employed in the study. Data were collected through open-ended interviews, allowing participants to express their experiences and perceptions in detail. The findings indicated that although instructors preferred face-to-face instruction for flute education, they considered distance education a valuable alternative for ensuring the continuity of lessons during the pandemic period. Based on the findings, it is recommended that higher education institutions strengthen their technological infrastructure and develop distance learning platforms specifically designed for music education, with enhanced audio and video quality to better support instrumental instruction.
