Özet

The paper presents etymology of Turkish Cerambycoidea taxa that have only been restricted to valid taxon names. The present study covers the second part including taxon names attributed to diagnostic adjectives, objects, concepts, host plants, etc... of the serial work. In the text, family-group names, genus-group names and species-groups names evaluated in separate sections. As a result, a total of 70 family-group names (1 superfamily, 2 families, 11 subfamilies, 53 tribes and 3 subtribes), 211 genus-group names (125 genus names and 86 subgenus names) and 508 species-group names (406 species names and 102 subspecies names), corresponding to 49.37% of the whole species-group taxa of Turkey (1029), attributed to diagnostic adjectives, objects, concepts, host plants, etc… are determined and presented into lists. A total of 172 endemic species-group taxa (113 species and 59 subspecies), corresponding to 16.72% of the whole species-group taxa of Turkey or 33.21% of the whole endemic species-group taxa (518), among determined 508 species-group names (406 species names and 102 subspecies names) attributed to diagnostic adjectives, objects, concepts, host plants, etc… are endemic to Turkey. A collective assessment on the etymology of Turkish Cerambycoidea taxa, based on the results obtained from the all studies (Parts I-III) of this serial work is also provided at the end of the present text.
