Özet

The funeral ceremony among Noghay Turks is an important ceremony that various traditions are practiced. The relatives of the dead person express their sorrows, they wail and lament for the dead. In this study the beliefs of Noghay Turks about death are analyzed. Noghay Turks name their laments as "bozlav". The word "bozlav" comes from the same etymon of the word "bozlak", the laments of Anatolia. In this study the "bozlav"s that are written in Noghay Turkish are determined and translated into Turkey Turkish.
