Özet

As known, Turkish Independence War, which was initiated after long years of wars and lasted for more than 3 years, was administered from Anatolia that was then struggling with hard financial situations. The main purpose of this study is to determine the social policies, which were implemented by TBMM Government primarily on the war wearies during the years of war of independence. During those years when very difficult financial situation was experienced and almost all funds were reserved for military expenditures, the things, which were made for the public, are more significant and meaningful compared to all other times. This study focuses on the social policies implemented by TBMM Government before becoming the official state against the problems of war of independence. During that period, where the primary goal was to win the war and declare independence, disbursement of each penny remaining after military expenditure for the public is applaudable.
