Due to the displacement in soil layers on which structures are supported because of various reasons the vertical configuration can be distorted. The Pisa Tower in Italy is a typical example of such cases. A lot of structures are tilted and lost their vertical shape because of soil problems, but still in use are commonly encountered in our country. Such structures yield serious problems with their lost functions and their threatening views. Load distribution and transfer schemes considered during the design stage in distorted structures undergo considerable changes. In this study, a simple analysis method is proposed for tilted structures by considering the changes in the load transfer mechanism in the original design stage. The proposed analysis method is applied on a typical structure of 7 storey. Rotational movements of structure around the horizontal axes have been examined and the limiting cases of the structural system have been determined.
