Abstract

A pseudoaneurysm is a pulsating hematoma that results from disruption of a portion of the arterial wall. Clotting occurs in the peripheral limits of the hematoma, whereas the center remains fluid and communicates with the arterial lumen, causing a pulsatile mass.
