Özet

Objectives: This case report details the esthetic and functional rehabilitation of a 22-year-old woman who presented bone resorption, gingival recession, and tooth mobility in the maxillary right central incisor following orthodontic treatment.

Case Report: The treatment plan included the extraction of the tooth, immediate implant placement, and the use of the patient’s natural tooth crown for immediate provisionalization to maintain gingival esthetics and create an ideal emergence profile. After extraction, an implant was placed in the socket of the tooth, and the crown of the extracted tooth was prepared to accommodate a standard abutment, enabling immediate loading. After the following 3-month healing period, digital impressions were taken for the final implant-supported crown. The final restoration involved a zirconia hybrid abutment and a separate lithium disilicate crown.

Conclusions: The treatment approach successfully preserved the gingival architecture, achieved an ideal emergence profile, and provided esthetic and functional outcomes. The patient showed no complications at 3-month, and 1-year follow-up visits. This case demonstrates the effectiveness of immediate implant placement and provisionalization using the patient's natural tooth in maintaining esthetic and functional outcomes in the anterior maxilla.
