Background Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is associated with micro-and macrovascular disease. In the current retrospective study we addressed the impact of chronic hyperglycemia on coronary flow velocity in terms of thrombolysis in myocardial infarction (TIMI) frame count.
